      <image:caption>Bluefouria Genetics: 09’ Barney’s Blue Cheese (Blueberry X UK Cheese) X Chemdog #4 BX1 Profile: An in-house favorite, this is another well-rounded hybrid. Stimulating, but somehow calming at the same time. Some consider this on the stonier side, but without any of the couch lock. The Skunk lineage from the Cheese and the Afghani lineage from the Chemdog are on full display with this one. Earthy, gassy, pungent funk.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>KiX Genetics: Chemdog #4 BX3 X Old Blueberry-Thai x Sour Diesel-OG Kush Profile: The essential hybrid. Some people have referred to it as the perfect high. Sativa like effects without the nervousness; euphoric but not overwhelming. The multiple layers of the parent strains all come out evenly making this one exceptional and memorable. The smell and flavor is almost hard to pinpoint, fruity but aromatic. Possibly clove or cinnamon, along with some sweeter citrus notes. One of our trimmers says it smells just like a box of Kix cereal.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Starry Night Genetics: Lemon Pledge (Chemdog 91’ S1 X Chemdog #4 BX1) X Chemdog #4 BX1 Profile: This cross really embodies it’s name. Relaxing and soothing, perfect for evenings. The lemon terpines from the Chemdog really come out, along with some mango or banana peel notes, and a little gassy, diesel finish. ScotttMD says there’s a good chance of some trace Nigerian Silk lineage somewhere in this one too, which gives an “almost empathetic feel” to it.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>Sour Silk Genetics: Lemon Pledge x Nigerian Silk X Chemdog #4 BX1 x Nigerian Silk Profile: With both parents being Nigerian Silk crosses, this hybrid really sees the energetic sativa effects come out. Again here, the effects are mildly psychedelic but in a more cerebral, empathetic way, and without the nervousness. This one has sometimes been compared to Haze varieties, but still with some of the distinct Chemdog qualities coming through. Fruity, sweet and sour, with an earthy and fuel finish.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>Mimosa Genetics: Clementine X Purple Punch Profile: This strain has become a fan favorite in recent months and one we were excited about bringing on to our list. It has uplifting and motivating effects, but is still strong and euphoric. Said to be great for depression and stress relief. The flavors and strong smells are spot on to it’s name. Bold citrus with an almost effervescent feel to it.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>Liter of Cola Genetics: Gorilla Glue #4 X Magnum Opus Profile: This indica leaning hybrid is the cross of two impressive strains. GG4 is a strong euphoric indica with Chem Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel lineage. Magnum Opus is a more 50/50 hybrid with Sour Diesel, Kush and Afghani lineage. Put together, this one offers the best of both worlds. Stimulating but on the stonier side. Funky, earthy diesel with some sweeter creamier notes to it.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>Helena Genetics: Princess X Skelly Hash Plant x SSSC Skunk #1 Profile: This cross from Dominion Seed Company was an unexpected but pleasant surprise to us this year. Princess offers this hybrid it’s pyschedelic effects and tropical aromatic smells, while Skelly Hash Plant x SSSC Skunk #1 is a dominant cross in itself, offering both strong indica and sativa characteristics and a heavy skunky, almost unpleasant stink. All three strains are considered to be high THC, making this a must try for the experienced cannabis user.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>AK47 Genetics: Undisclosed - Columbian, Mexican, Afghani, Thai descent. Profile: This strain’s origins go back to 1992. The breeder, Serious Seeds, has never disclosed the exact genetics, but it’s complex lineage creates quite the combination of effects. The sativa leaning hybrid is known for a cerebral, creative, uplifting high that can be long-lasting and intense. The smells and flavors are fruity, sweet and sour, with some floral creamy vanilla notes. This strain has stood the test of time and we are happy to have it on our list and available to our customers.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Flower</image:title>
      <image:caption>OG Kush Genetics: Unknown- Chemdog, Hindu Kush, Northern Lights lineage. Profile: OG Kush is probably one of the most famous, well-known strains in the cannabis world. However, it’s origins and history are unclear and still debated. Often times now, when people say OG Kush, they are met with skepticism and doubt. This strain was given to me by a local grower who’s been cultivating it for over 20 years. The effects are spot on to us. Euphoric, heady and energetic, accompanied by a distinct body buzz relaxation. Dank, pine, citrus smells.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Planting season starts in May. We transport our living soil and compost mixes to the garden to get ready for transplanting.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Our first year, we built our beds in 200 gallon planters, using a mixture of Pro-mix, peet moss, perlite, rock dust, and our compost mixes.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Building and maintaining the outdoor beds is critical. These beds are given top coats throughout each season and we use various mulching techniques to let microorganisms and nutrients replenish the soil. This is known as "no till" gardening.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ffccfd43a7fa1750fcf62c5/1611093687030-VVMRIDS7CL1BPWGTAHHJ/9.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Next is the transplanting phase, where we move our plants outside and plant them in their new beds.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ffccfd43a7fa1750fcf62c5/1611093723556-2UC1VVQV2G61QYAJIWWT/10.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Each year, the beds get bigger, as we dig out the centers for the new plants. We move the displaced soil to the outer edges of the beds and reinforce the planters. Then, we surround the roots of the new plant with fresh planting mix and add new top coat.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>After several months of watering and pruning, the plants mature and the flowering process takes place.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>We inspect our plants every day as they flower. We like to call this "spending quality time" with the plants.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Finally, its time to harvest. Harvest season begins in October and is the longest, most grueling part of the season. Dylan really likes to immerse himself in the process.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ffccfd43a7fa1750fcf62c5/1611093930905-CQPWWARS1QG7V2123PUA/15.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Then, it's time to dry. We generally like to dry on the stalks, but space dictates how much we can. We use a "low and slow" process, keeping the temperatures cool and allowing the plants to dry over a longer period of time with proper humidity levels and air flow.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>We continue the drying process in boxes, opening and closing them daily. When closed, they retain some humidity and start to slowly cure. Then we open, to let them breathe and air out. The smells really start to come out during this phase.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Process</image:title>
      <image:caption>Curing is essential. Allowing for a proper cure allows the trichomes to fully develop and the terpines to really come out. We always dry and cure over a 4-6 week period, based on the plant and strain. We like to say "the plants make their own schedule."</image:caption>
